The City of Jefferson Street Dept. will chip tree trimmings the week of Aug. 23. After they’ve gone over the whole town once, the next time they chip will be the week of Sept. 20. Please always have cut ends to the curb stacked neatly in arm load piles to ensure your trimmings are picked up. No whole trees will be accepted for chipping. Thank you for your cooperation.
