COUNCIL MEETING

No citizens spoke at the open forum.
RESOLUTION NO. 28-07
On motion by Teeples second by Figenshaw, the Council approved the following consent agenda: July 10th Council Minutes, approval of a Class C Liquor License renewal for Sparetime Lanes & Lounge, Class C Beer Permit renewal for Casey’s General Store #1617, Resolution No. 28-07, a resolution approving Fiscal Year End 2007 budget transfers, and Draw #22 in the amount of $35,686 for the CDBG Genesis Development Project.

RESOLUTION NO. 29-07
On motion by Teusch second by Hertel, the Council approved Resolution No. 29-07, a resolution approving contracts and performance and/or payment bonds for the Lincoln Court Improvement Project.

On motion by Teeples second by Bunkers, the Council approved Change Order #1 for Allied Construction in the amount of an $8,957.36 decrease for the sidewalk portion of the Lincoln Court Improvement Project.

On motion by Hertel second by Figenshaw, the Council approved the Notice to Proceed to Allied Construction and King Construction for the Lincoln Court Improvement Project.

The Council discussed adjusting fees for greater than four animals as it is addressed in the Animal Ordinance. The Council agreed there would be no change to this portion of the ordinance at this time.
On motion by Teusch second by Figenshaw, the Council approved the City paying for the south portion of sidewalk on Highway #4, with half of the money coming from Road Use Tax and the other half from General Fund.

Stephanie Smith, director of the Greene County Early Learning Center, presented an update on the learning center stating that things are going well.
Lee Horbach, Wade Weiss and Jeff Lamoureux gave a presentation on the proposed Youth Sports Complex. After considerable discussion the Council is requesting additional information be presented before a decision would be made.
There being no further business the Council agreed to adjourn.
