COUNCIL MEETING
JANUARY 22, 2008
5:00 P.M.
PRESENT: Figenshaw, Teusch, Monthei, Black
ABSENT: Teeples
Mayor Berry presided.
Pam Olerich presented information to the Council regarding valuations in and around Greene County.
Cheryl McDonald addressed the Council regarding drainage on the east and north side of their property next to the bike trail on East Monroe. The Wastewater Superintendent will be contacted regarding this.
On motion by Teusch second by Figenshaw, the Council approved the following consent agenda: January 8, 2008 Council Minutes; Plumber’s Permits for Air-Temp Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, Inc., Joe P. Frank and Son, and Wyatt’s Water Conditioning, Inc.

On motion by Figenshaw second by Black, the Council approved Pay Estimate No. 2 (Final) to Van Hauen and Associates for $6,995.00 for work to date on the Sanitary Sewer Lift Station across from Lincoln Ridge Estates.

Discussion was held regarding snowmobiles within the city limits. The Council directed additional education efforts be pursued and carried out.
Discussion was held on establishing policies and procedures for Council meetings. Councilperson Teusch will collect the information regarding this and will present a draft for the next Council meeting.
Discussion was held on establishing written expectations for the new City Administrator.
RESOLUTION NO. 1-08
On motion by Black second by Monthei, the Council approved Resolution No. 1-08, a resolution changing Council Meeting times for February and March, 2008 to 5:30 p.m.

The Council discussed the Warin Oil site on East Lincolnway. A committee will be set up to explore uses and feasibility of retaining the existing structure.
Councilman Figenshaw reported on the Law Enforcement Entity Board Meeting. The Law Enforcement Center budget remained the same.
Councilperson Black reported on the Park and Recreation Meeting. A new floor has been installed in the aerobics room.
There being no further business the Council agreed to adjourn.
